Reframing Techniques to Improve The Self-Confidence Of Students Who Are Victims Of Verbal Bullying At MTs Bina Cendekia

The self-confidence of students who are victims of verbal bullying is often triggered by an irrational mindset in dealing with the situation. Many students allow themselves to be subjected to bullying by their peers, leading to feelings of inferiority and self-defeating behavior. The purpose of the study was to examine the effectiveness of Individual Counseling with Reframing Techniques in increasing the self-confidence of students victims of verbal bullying. Research method The research uses Quantitative Experimental Methods with Single Case Experimental design, carried out at MTs Bina Cendekia Bogor from March to June 2023. Involving two female students who experienced low self-confidence due to verbal bullying, with 8 counseling sessions using Reframing Techniques. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using various statistical methods. Results of the study: Pre-test and post-test results showed increased confidence in both counselors after the intervention. The score graph shows significant changes, stating the effectiveness of Individual Counseling Reframing Techniques in increasing the confidence of students victims of verbal bullying. Individual Counseling with Reframing Techniques is effective in boosting the confidence of students who are victims of verbal bullying, offering an approach that has the potential to provide a solution to self-esteem issues resulting from verbal bullying.
