This study aims to determine the differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities of students taught using the Team Quiz learning model and the individual learning model on fractions in grade VII of MTsS Miftahussalam. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely experimental class I taught using the Team Quiz model and experimental class II taught using the individual learning model. The research instrument was a mathematical problem-solving ability test given through a posttest. Data were analyzed using analysis prerequisite tests, including normality tests and homogeneity tests, as well as hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the average mathematical problem-solving abilities of students taught using the Team Quiz model were higher than those taught using the individual learning model. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, the Team Quiz learning model proved to be more effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities on fractions.
