الملخص

Students ability to adapt in the academic field must be founded on strong self efficacy. Low self-efficacy can disrupt students academic processes, ultimately triggering mental health issues, thus requiring serious attention. This study aims to examine the effect of an Islamic-based symbolic modeling technique intervention. The research employs a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The study was conducted on 22 students from MTs Ibnu Hajar, with an intervention spanning 8 sessions. Pre-test results indicated that indicators of comprehension and engagement fell into the moderate category P1-P10, while self-confidence P11-P14 was classified as low. Most learning objective indicators were categorized as moderat' P15-P19 and low P20-P25. Hypothesis testing revealed a significant improvement, with the mean score increasing from 64.23 to 78.14 , indicating an overall enhancement in self-efficacy understanding. Therefore, it can be concluded that Islamic-based symbolic modeling guidance techniques have an influence on strengthening students' self-efficacy.
