Author Guidelines

Accepted manuscripts must be written in English.
Manuscripts are 20-30 pages long, written on A4 paper, with margins: top 3 cm, left 3.5 cm, right 3 cm, and bottom 3 cm, two columns (except for abstracts, figures, or tables whose size cannot be reduced for readability), justified, and single-spaced. The manuscript consists of seven main headings: Introduction, Theoretical Support (Optional), Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments (Optional), and References.
The title should be no more than 15 words, capitalized, bold, Cambria font size 14, centered, single-spaced.
The author's name should be listed, followed by the author's affiliation and email address.
The abstract should be written in both Indonesian and English, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract should be no more than 250 words in each language format and written narratively, including the aims/objectives, methods, and findings of the research/article.
Keywords: words or phrases that are important, specific, or representative of the article, at least three words.
CMS style is used as a reference in citations, references, and writing formatting.
Article references include journals and non-journals published within the last 10 years. Manuscripts must be written following the DJIS (Ad Dien Journal of Islamic Studies) template. Manuscripts must be in .doc/.docx format and submitted to the journal system via online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS) [click REGISTER if you don't have an account; or click LOG IN if you already have one].
All author names and identities must be listed in full on the form filled out by the corresponding author: email, affiliation. [If the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click 'Add Author' in step 3 'ENTER METADATA' in the submission process, then enter each author's details.]
All correspondence, information, and decisions regarding submitted manuscripts will be made via the email listed in the manuscript and/or the email used for submission. Manuscript status can be checked in OJS by logging in to the journal.

SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their manuscript for compliance with All of the following must be met, and manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to authors.

The manuscript must not have been previously published;
The manuscript must be in 1.15-spaced format and must be between 6,000 and 8,000 characters long, or approximately 20-30 quarto (A4) pages;
The writing format includes: (a) Title, (b) Author's name (without title), (c) Author's institution and position, (d) Abstract (between 150 and 250 words), (e) Keywords, (f) Introduction, (g) Discussion, (h) Conclusion, and (i) Bibliography;
The published article belongs to DJIS (Ad Dien Journal of Islamic Studies) and will be edited as needed.
