Abstrak

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), as Islamic educational institutions, play a strategic role in shaping the character, morals, and spirituality of students. However, modern challenges, such as cases of sexual violence in educational settings, pose a serious problem that undermines the institution's integrity and negatively impacts victims, both physically and psychologically. Sexual violence, especially when the perpetrator is someone close to the student, such as a teacher or religious figure, causes profound trauma and a crisis of trust. In this context, Islamic developmental psychology offers a comprehensive approach to help students shape the meaning of life and restore their mental health through strengthening spiritual values, Islamic counseling, and character development. Islamic propagation psychology serves as an integrative tool between psychological and religious aspects, enabling Islamic boarding schools to become safe environments, support mental development, and foster just and caring communities.
