About the Journal

Ad Dien: Journal of Islamic Studies is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published by the Abdi Sakti Budi Foundation in Bogor, Indonesia. It publishes research articles, conceptual articles, field study reports, and book reviews on Islamic studies (See Focus and Scope). Articles are published four times a year (August, Nov, Februari, and Mei).

The journal includes original research articles based on library and/or empirical research in the field of Islamic studies, covering nine main topics: (1) the Qur'an and Hadith (2) Islamic Law (3) Islamic Theology (Kalam) (4) Islamic Philosophy (5) Islamic Mysticism (Sufism) (6) Islamic Education (7) Islamic Communication and Da'wah (Dakwah), (8) Islamic Politics (9) Islamic Psychology. The journal encourages articles that use a multidisciplinary approach to these topics. Scholars from any country and region interested in Islam and its manifestations throughout the history and geography of Muslims in the Islamic World and beyond can submit their articles to Ad Dien Journal of Islamic Studies and use this open access journal.
